Previous UFC heavyweight winner Junior Dos Santos has his eyes set on boxing and inked a deal with a boxing administration firm. Boxing management business S-JAM produced the announcement on Tuesday.
“A UFC Heavyweight Champion, who holds the ??????? ??????? ?????? in UFC heavyweight history… Welcome to SJAM, ?????? ??? ??????. @junior_cigano will be co-managed by SJAM Boxing together with Nilo Effori. Stay tuned for battle news…,” the management organization posted on social media.
The announcement involved a 22-second video promo of dos Santos training that finished with a graphic that read through, ‘Dos Santos Has Arrived.’

Dos Santos was unveiled by the UFC following his UFC 256 TKO loss to Cyril Gane. It was the previous champion’s fourth TKO reduction in a row. His very last MMA victory arrived in March 2019.
With his MMA vocation seemingly in the rearview mirror, dos Santos has massive ambitions in boxing. “Cigano” believes he’ll deal with the likes of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, or Tyson Fury a single working day, and ‘beat them up.’
“Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury – I truly believe that at some stage it can be likely to materialize. I am going to have a large combat against just one of these men and I’ll conquer them up,” dos Santos explained in a 2nd movie posted by the management company.
Dos Santos also posted the announcement and videos on his social media accounts. In a submit exhibiting the graphic ‘Dos Santos Has Arrived,’ the Brazilian wrote, “If I say let us box I’m not kidding.”
